تغادر الطائرة من سيدني في استراليا متجهة الى الولايات المتحدة
تحصل مشكلة ما تضطر الطائرة لتغيير مسارها و الهبوط في مطار اخر
ولكن فجأة تبدأ الطائرة بالاهتزاز و يسقط ذيل الطائرة وتعم الفوضى
واخيراً تسقط الطائرة على جزيرة مجهولة و ينجو منها 47 راكباً
وفي اول ليلة لهم ستمع صيحات كائن مجهول
و هو يدمر اشجاراً كبيرة والكل يجهل ماهية هذا الكائن
و الكثير من الاحداث الغريبة.

ومن هنا تبدأ قصة المعاناة في سبيل البقاء على الحياة.
